Earth Day 2022 at Teamvantage

FOREST LAKE, MINN. (April 22, 2022) – The Teamvantage activity committee hosted an Earth Day event on Friday, April 22, 2022, at our facility in Forest Lake, Minnesota. More than two dozen volunteers consisting of Teamvantage employees and staff from our onsite contract employment agencies were provided gloves and combed the grounds for any trash that accumulated over the long winter months. All volunteers were also given a “Team” shirt for the event and enjoyed refreshments when finished. Our ambitious team collected two garbage cans of trash!

Other events taking place for all employees included handouts, brochures and a word search game from the local county environmental office educating employees on plastic recycling. Also provided was information on the resources available through the county recycling program.

The day's events wrapped up with a contest where employees tried to guess the number of aluminum cans crushed into recycled cubes. Over 75 employees participated in the contest and two employees guessed within two cans of the correct amount and they each won a gift card to a local business.

We could not be more proud of the employee turnout for the event and our activity committee is already making plans for our third annual Earth Day event in 2023!
